Power Skating and Development Programs:

Ancaster Skating Club:  Offers a combined learn-to-skate (CanSkate) and beginner powerskating program this summer at the Mohawk 4 Ice Centre, geared towards beginner and returning skaters aged 3 and up.  These programs are designed to help skaters improve their basic skating skills for hockey, ringette, figure skating and speed skating. Instruction is provided by Skate Canada Certified coaches on the fundamentals of balance, control, and agility in a fun and friendly learning environment.  Both Wednesday daytime and Thursday evening options are available.  Programs are also being offered for Parents & Tots (aged 2-4) and teens/young adults wishing to learn to skate or improve their skill level.  Please go to www.ancasterskatingclub.ca for registration information.
